FAQs

What are the times that ticket holders will be permitted to enter the event?

VIP ticket holders may enter at 4pm – one hour before the general admission ticket holders will be permitted to enter at 5pm.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Yes. You must be 21+ to enter our event.  You MUST show a valid drivers license or other form of identification to be admitted to the event. ID will be checked for all attendees.

Are there designated driver tickets available to the event?

Yes. They are $20 and include food that will be served as well as access to the auction/raffle. Attendees who have designated driver tickets will not be permitted to consume any alcohol at the event.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

We encourage all attendees who will be consuming alcohol to either make arrangements to use Uber or Lyft for their transportation, or have someone drop you off and pick you up.

If you have driven to the event and feel you should not drive home, we will make arrangements to get you an Uber or Lyft home.

There is limited free parking FOR VIP TICKET HOLDERS available in the EIC lot.

  • You will be required to show your VIP ticket to enter the EIC parking lot.

Paid parking is available nearby at the PPG Paints Arena parking lot is right across the street.

PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL, CONSIDERATE,AND REASONABLE IN YOUR INTERACTIONS AT OUR EVENT.

Three Rivers Underground Brewers (“TRUB”)  is committed to providing all of our attendees, brewers, and volunteers with a welcoming, safe, and fun environment. We do not tolerate harassment or insults in any form, or any aggressive or disruptive behavior, or threats of violence. Sexist, racist, or exclusionary comments are not condoned, and are not acceptable. Mistreatment based on gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race or religion is not acceptable.

Importantly, anyone who appears to be visibly intoxicated at the sole discretion of a TRUB officer, will no longer be served any alcohol, and shall be asked to immediately leave the event.

As a condition of purchasing a ticket to Brewing For a Cause, each attendee agrees to the Code of Conduct policy.  Anyone who is deemed to have violated the policy at the sole discretion of an officer of TRUB will be asked to leave the event – with no refund of their ticket price.

What’s the refund policy?

Because our ticket fees pay for the venue and the rest to the charity, we cannot offer refunds.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

This year we will check-in using the Online Eventbrite ticket scan app from your phone. Please have your phone on and ticket QR code ready at entry.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?

As long as they haven’t checked in already. It would be best to contact us to work out the details if possible.

What are the Covid -19 protocols for entry to the event?

We will be following the Allegheny County Covid-19 recommendations which are in place at the time of the event.
