Brewing up a Cure is a way for the members of Three Rivers Underground Brewers (TRUB) to both promote homebrewing and to support a cause that is close to all of our hearts. Members of our club, Shane Terrick, Robert and Danielle Domiano have children who were born with Cystic Fibrosis.
In our 9th year, Brewing Up A Cure has gone from a small group of homebrewers to a signature Pittsburgh event. We have had the great pleasure to spread awareness about Cystic Fibrosis while also promoting our great love of homebrewing and craft beer.
We now feature well over 75 different homebrewed beers made by various club members, as well as beers from great microbreweries from around the Pittsburgh region. In addition to all of the great beer, there is great food from local eateries, great live music, and some fabulous auction items to bid on.
The event has grown to 650 attendees, and the donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has grown to nearly $200,000. If you would like to help Brewing Up A Cure, please purchase tickets or become a sponsor today!
